“The Bulgarian Army. Tales for Kids ”
The opening of the exhibition “The Bulgarian Army. Tales for Kids “will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 3 pm at NMMH – Sofia.
On the eve of the Christmas celebrations, when families traditionally gather, the National Museum of Military History turns to the children, creating an exhibition in which they will meet a large family of more than 100 years – that of the Bulgarian Army. More than 60 previously undersized wooden scale models of soldiers, armaments and vehicles representing the creation and development of the Bulgarian Army will tell how the soldiers of the infantry, cavalry, artillery, sailors, pilots, engineers troops and military units, as well as volunteers and even volunteers.
There will also be a variety of fun – specially crafted military clothes and their ladies, with which children will be able to move in the past and shoot for memories, as well as puzzle games and touch screen applications. The atmosphere will be complemented by 80 paintings by artist Lazar Yordanov, representing the various military uniforms over the years.
Only on the opening day will the exhibition be presented by guided children, who together with their peers will create a story about our troops with the language of the youngest.
The exhibition, which provokes the interest not only of the children but also of their parents, can be seen until the end of February 2019.
