Portuguese star Cooka Roseta will be in Varna for the first time to delight her fans with a fado concert. The music event is for anyone who loves this type of lyrical music or who wants to touch the Portuguese culture. On November 28 in Hall 1 of the FCC – Varna Cook, Roseta will saturate the cultural space with her music, thus putting the final touch on the 2019 Varna Summer Music Festival. The young lady is extremely dedicated to her career. Maria Isabel Rebelo Couto Pear Rosetta, better known by her artistic nickname Cooke Rosetta, was born in Lisbon in 1981. She enters into popular music after singing in a church choir. Gradually, over the years, she has won various music awards and formats, and this traces her further professional career in traditional Portuguese fado music. Her meeting with Carlos Saura has given a boost to her career, and her 2011 debut album, produced by Argentinean musician and composer Gustavo Santolalia, has made her a world-class star.
Kooka Roseta delivers 120 concerts a year, so her concert in Varna is an incredible compliment to her fans from Bulgaria. After Varna there will be a concert in Sofia. The tour of the Portuguese singer is organized in partnership with the Portuguese Cultural Institute Camoins – Sofia, at the Embassy of Portugal in Bulgaria.
